Ezekiel Elliott Supports Ryan Shazier in Pittsburgh

Ezekiel Elliott was in Pittsburgh over the weekend, even at Acrisure Stadium, but there was a twist to his visit.

Elliott is a free agent after being dismissed by the Cowboys and has never played for another team. He appeared at Hyde Park Steakhouse on the North Shore in his Instagram post, raising suspicions.

Elliott later visited Acrisure Stadium. He attended Ryan Shazier's annual Acrisure Stadium charity event. Elliott went last year. Shazier and Elliott played together at Ohio State and remain friends.

Shazier held "The Run for Black and Gold" charity event on Saturday. Kenny Pickett, Joey Porter, and Cam Heyward also attended.

North Shore festivities included former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer. Live activities raised money for Shazier's spinal recovery fund. Twelve famous jockeys raced all night.

Cincinnati's tackle of Shazier ended his career. He bravely documented his recovery, walking again and regaining most function. Now, Shazier helps others like him.

Thus, Elliott and the Steelers are unaffected. With Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren leading the room, an Elliott-like running back would be unnecessary.

After releasing Benny Snell, they'll let the depth chart choose their third running back.
