Henry Winkler Explains ‘Barry’s Ending and Gene’s Future

"Succession" and "Barry" finished their four-season campaigns Sunday night. Two 2018 programs ended on the same night.

"Succession" ended an hour ago, when Bill Hader, Henry Winkler, Sarah Goldberg, Stephen Root, and Anthony Carrigan said.

Goodbye to their characters in a bloody finale. Barry (Hader), after stocking up on weapons, races frantically to.

Rescue Sally (Goldberg) and their son John (Zachary Golinger), whom NoHo Hank (Carrigan) abducted in the previous episode.

Barry prays to God on the way there, asking for forgiveness for his past transgressions and redemption from his life of violence.

He has missed all the action when he gets to Hank's hiding place, though. Before he arrives, their gangs have massacred one another.

And the possible alliance against Barry between Hank and Fuches (Root) has collapsed. Hank refused to say that he murdered his own boyfriend Cristobal (Michael Irby) in order to gain power.

As Fuches demanded. Fuches assists John and Sally in escaping before he vanishes as Hank perishes in front of a gilded statue of Cristobal.
